Roof and wall work well under way!
Paul Rycroft, our New Build Delivery and Collaboration Director shares the latest update on the progress of our new hospice building.
“It’s hard to believe that it was only back in June when we saw the first piece of steel be placed on our new building.
“Now as we come to the end of September the roofing and walling work is well underway. It won’t be long now until the internal fit out will start, at first this will be the installation of key items such as our combined heat and power plant, electrical intake cabinets, gas manifolds and boilers. From there the various pipes and cables will be installed to feed the whole building.
There’s a full year of work ahead, but it’s good to see the progress to date.
